I never thought I'd want to live any place but Royal Oak. My great-grandparents settled there and my family has all lived there since. I was a city kid, too. Once I spent some time up here, I fell in love with it. I've always wanted to live on a lake.

Hi Patty!
We do live on Skidway Lake! Check out my images. I lived in Royal Oak all my life and one of my favorite towns is Wyandotte, in the downriver area. My husband retired last year and we moved up here.
It's a big change from Royal Oak, but we love it!

Patty, thanks a lot for the vote of confidence. Maybe this summer when I'm through with school I'll be able to think about it more. But right now all I do is homework and email.
